ਦਗਦੇ ਕੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਲ਼ੀ ‘ਤੇ ਰਖ ਕੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੱਥ ਨਾ ਜਲ਼ੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਜੋ ਅਸੰਖਾਂ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਜ਼ ਨੇਮ ਨਾਲ਼ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਹੈ ਕੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਮੇਜ਼ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਕਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਹੈ ਅਗਲੇ ਪਲ ਉੱਡ ਕੇ ਛੱਤ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜਾ ਲੱਗੇ | ? ਬੇਥਵ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਬੇਥਵ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਸਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੋਚ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਪਲ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੁੱਮਣੋਂ ਮੁਨਕਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਖੰਡ ਮੰਡਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਲੀਕਾਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਸਂਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਤੂ ਕਰਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋ ਹੁਕਮੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਦਗਦੇ ਕੋਲ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਲੀ ‘ਤੇ ਰਖ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ

Source: The poem is written by Canada based Punjabi poet/playwright Ajmer Rode . I have take this poem from Amarjit Chandan’s book of Essays Failsoophiaan ( ਫੈਲਸੂਫੀਆਂ ).

P.S. I was looking for the book Failsoophiaan ( ਫੈਲਸੂਫੀਆਂ ) from last two years, I had gifted the book i first bought to a friend.
