ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਭਾਵ ਦਬਾਏ, ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਜ਼ ਛੁਪਾਏ, ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ

ਹੁਣ ਆਪਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸ਼ਰੂਫ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਐ ਯਾਦ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ

ਤੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਸਫਰ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਨਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਥੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ

ਸਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਲ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਥਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਲੈ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਤੇਰੀ ਥਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗਾ

ਪਰ ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ

kujh taan see aapne vichkaar kujh toon bhaav dabaae, kujh main kujh toon raaz chupae, kujh main par kujh taan see aapne vichkaar

hun aapan ikk dooje ton door ho chukke haan kummaan kaaran vichch mashroof ho chukke haan par aa hi jaanda ai yaad kujh taan see aapne vichkaar

teri zindagi vich humsafar dee koee lorh nahin meri zindagi vich tanhaee dee koee thorh nahin

samaan aapni chaal challe ga meri thaan koee hor lai chukkia teri thaan koee hor lai lave ga

par yaad rahegi hamesha kujh taan see aapne vichkaar

@Rajbir, Am i a poet ? naaaa , its just that i wrote this poem which u guys liked :)

I like it but something is missing. Maybe you should have giving more detaisl as to why the distance occured between them. Nothign tragic maybe just boredom or they grew apart and when they realized it it was too late.

my favourite poem, I like the wording and the meaning, which departs………………!

The beauty of this poem is the subtlety. Said everything and yet hid the necessary part. The beautiful thing about a poem is, there should always be something left to discover.
