ਅਸਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਧੁੱਪ / the sky and sunshine

ਕੱਲ ਰਾਤ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਇਆ ਫਿਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਧੁੱਪ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਈ

ਅਸਮਾਨ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ

ਅਸਮਾਨ:  ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ? ਧੁੱਪ: (ਮੁਸਕਰਾ ਕੇ) ਮੈਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਗਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ |

ਸੂਰਜ ਹੱਸਦਾ ਏ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਦੀ  ਬੇਵਕੂਫੀ ਤੇ |

ਅਸਮਾਨ: ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਯਾਦ ਆਈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਛਾ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਏ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਸ਼ਿੰਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ  ਓਦਰੇ ਪਏ ਸੀ| ਧੁੱਪ: ਕਮਲਿਆ, ਵਿਛੋੜਾ  ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਐ

ਸੂਰਜ  ਮੁਸਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਏ, ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਧੁੱਪ ਦੀ ਹਲੀਮੀ ਤੇ |

the sky cried last night.. the sunshine came to see him in the morning.. sky is happy

sky: where were you sunshine ? sunshine: we were on a vacation

sun laughs, perhaps at sky’s stupidity

sky: i missed you a lot, without you its all gloomy here, even the earthlings were longing for you sunshine: (*smiles*) separation is like a test, it tells you the worth of your loved ones

sun smiles, perhaps at sunshine’s decency

i wish the sky and sunshine wud share a like cordial relation here in delhi too….too long a separation is not good either.. presently, the sky is wedded to mist… and the sun is complicit!!!! maybe its angry..you divorced the shine and the sun!!!!! nice one shashwati [via email]
